![]() George Edward Brunner, age 58, while living in Evansville, passed away October 27, 2008 He was born 11/22/1949 in New Castle. George received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Purdue University and was a member of the Society of Professional Engineers. He was an engineer for Vectren (Indiana Gas Co) since 1968. He was a philanthropist at several local soup kitchens and shelters. Note: in my opinion he was the most intelligent person ever to work at the Gas Company. He passed his Professional Engineer's test the first time, while the companies "professional engineer" had to take it 3 times. |

He was a member of the 44th Infantry Division Veterans Association. Wayne retired from SIGECO/Vectren after 37 years of service. He was president of Local 702 IBEW and later was a supervisor for SIGECO/Vectren. He was a member of the SIGECO Retirees Club. |

After his service he furthered his education at Ball State and received his degree in 1950 in accounting. He began his long working career at the IGC in Muncie, IN |
